Abstract:Objective:To explore the CT features of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) in nasal cavity and para-nasal sinuses in order to promote the diagnostic accuracy. Methods:The CT images of 24 patients with NHL in nasal cavity and para-nasal sinuses confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results:Among 24 cases of NHL,16 cases were unilateral,8 cases involved bilateral. 2 cases were primary vestibule NHL,6 cases were primary nasal cavity NHL , 9 cases were primary para-nasal sinuses NHL,and 7 cases were primary nasal cavity and para-nasal sinuses NHL; 15 cases showed mass effects, 9 cases were infiltrative. Among 24 cases, 22 lesions were homogeneous in density, 2 lesions were not homogeneous, partial reinforcement in Enhancement Scan. In this group, 1 case showed bone destruction in primary nasal lymphoma, 6 cases showed bone destruction in primary para-nasal sinus lymphoma and nasal cavity and para-nasal sinuses lymphoma; the adjacent structures were often involved. Conclusions:Nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses NHL CT demonstrated lack characteristic manifestations. The NHL in the nasal cavity and para-nasal sinuses has some characteristic features on CT images; CT scan plays an important role in diagnosis of NHL.
