Abstract:Objective:To describe the application of cells co-culture in bone and cartilage tissue engineering. Methods:To look up the relevant articles about the application of cells co-culture in bone and cartilage tissue engineering in the database of the CNKI and Pubmed, to summarize and analyze those data.Results:Cells co-culture technology is used for inducing stem cell to differentiate into somatic cell, maintaining cell function and viability, regulating cell proliferation, and effectively expanding the required for repair of osteochondral damage of the source of seed cells.Conclusions:Because the full simulation of the environment in vivo, enabling cells to communicate information, providing mutual support of growth and proliferation. This method becomes a new and very promising technology in the field of tissue engineering.
